- Enhanced Ledger Bitcoin Address Derivation**: Upgraded Bitcoin address generation to fully comply with BIP84 hierarchical deterministic wallet standards, now supporting both receiving and change addresses for improved transaction privacy and wallet functionality.
- Technical Details: Implemented complete BIP84 derivation paths (m/84'/0'/account'/change/address_index) supporting multiple accounts (0-4), receiving addresses (external chain), and change addresses (internal chain).
- Performance Optimization: UI displays only receiving addresses (100 total) while maintaining full signing capability for all address types.
- Standards Compliance: Follows Bitcoin wallet best practices by generating change addresses internally without exposing them to the user interface.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed Incomplete Bitcoin Address Generation: Resolved missing change address derivation in Ledger Bitcoin wallet provider that could impact transaction privacy and proper UTXO management.
- Added nested loop to derive both external (changeIndex=0) and internal (changeIndex=1) address chains while maintaining clean UI experience
- Corrected Bitcoin Message Signing Paths: Fixed Bitcoin message signing to use proper BIP84 derivation paths including the changeIndex parameter.
