Answer a requirement

Reports your answer to a requirement only you can answer.

Requirement in the pathOutcomes
wallet-address-confirmationconfirmed, or rejected when the address is not your customer’s
beneficiary-name-matchmatched, partial_match (held for review) or mismatch
internal-compliance-checkcompleted or rejected
  • Call again to change your answer. mismatch, and a rejected compliance check or address confirmation, are final.
  • A rejected address confirmation rejects the transfer and tells the counterparty that the address is not yours (TAP Reject code AC03).
  • If only the counterparty said the address is yours, rejecting it also withdraws that claim: later transfers to it are rejected the same way until you register it.
  • If you said so yourself, by registering, confirming or using the address, the answer covers this transfer only. Remove the wallet to stop later confirmations.
  • It needs a counterparty’s request, and cannot follow a reject you already sent on the transfer.

Required permission: authorize:transfer.
